This picture was used in News+Rescue to reports a true life story of a man battering his wife. CASB EXCLUSIVE has some reservations about this publication.
First, the conception of "Nigerian men killing their wives" rather too harsh and unacceptable to be used for a great nation called Nigeria. That there some recorded cases of men who reacted inordinately and had there spouses or children killed does not make it a life style of Nigerian men.
Secondly, the picture looks more like a love play or a pose than a fight. Again, the man's facial side view depicts laughter more than the seriousness that a fight conveys. Or was he killing his wife and at the same time smiling?
Lastly, the person at the background was too relaxed. He was rather watching a show than a scene where a neighbour is trying to strangulate his wife.
