SAMSUNG Pays APPLE $1billion dollars fine in Coins!

" You can use your coins to buy refreshments at the little machine for life or melt the coins to make computers, that’s not my problem, I already paid them and fulfilled the law. A total of 20 billion coins, delivery hope to finish this week." were the words of Lee Kun-hee, Chairman of Samsung Electronics to Apple Computers.

Apple Computers pettioned Samsung Electronics for infringing on their patents in iphones and ipad. The Asian electronics giant was accused by Apple of stealing their ios interface styles, iconic modes and other internal structures that made iphones and ipads unique. The consequence of this was drastic dwindling in the Apple's revenue from these products.

During the proceedings Samsung accepted that they copied from Apple but that the value was far below what apple claimed. However, the jury awarded several damages to the complainant that summed up to $1billion.

Samsung had since paid Apple Computer using coins as the judgement document was silent on the mode and method of payment.  Tim Cook (Apple CEO) has limited option of choice in this matter.
